The HolyBro H-RTK Unicore UM982 is a professional dual-antenna RTK GNSS module built around the Unicore UM982 chip. Its standout capability is Moving Baseline Yaw (GPS Heading) — providing compass-free heading determination from a single module with two helical antennas. This eliminates yaw errors caused by motor interference, metallic structures, or environmental magnetic disturbances — making it ideal for large UAVs, survey platforms, and autonomous vehicles operating in magnetically challenging environments.
It supports full RTK positioning with 0.8cm horizontal accuracy, 20Hz update rate, and simultaneous multi-constellation reception (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BDS, QZSS). Plug-and-play with all Pixhawk and ArduPilot/PX4 autopilots via standard JST-GH connectors.
Note: Status LED driver support requires PX4 1.14 or ArduPilot 4.4.0 and later. Base station use requires manual configuration — it is recommended to use the H-RTK F9P-Base or F9P Helical as the base station, as Mission Planner and QGroundControl cannot auto-configure the UM982 as a base station at this time.
