Record the Analog FPV View Without Adding an Aircraft Camera

The ImmersionRC PowerPlay is an external FPV DVR that records a compatible goggle's analog video feed using H.264/AVC compression at up to 60fps. Keep recording equipment on your head strap or in a pocket rather than adding a separate recording camera to a lightweight quad.

A built-in 6cm LCD lets you monitor recording and review footage. For compatible FatShark goggle setups, PowerPlay also serves as a goggle power pack, with a switch controlling power to both the DVR and goggles.

Goggle Compatibility and Runtime

The existing product text references FatShark Dominator goggles and an HDO setup with a RapidFire receiver. Confirm your exact goggle model, AV output, power-input requirements and cable pinout before ordering; compatibility is not established for every FatShark model or other headset brand.

The source describes up to three hours of operation for an HDO, RapidFire and DVR combination using two 18500 cells. This is a conditional example, not a guaranteed runtime. Actual operation depends on cell capacity and condition, goggle load and recording use.
