Six-Inch, High-Pitch Props for Compatible FPV Builds
The Gemfan Vortex 6x9x3 combines a 6-inch diameter, 9-inch nominal pitch and three-blade design in dark gray glass-fiber nylon. Select a two-pack of clockwise or counterclockwise propellers to match your aircraft's motor layout.
Keep the rotation you need on hand for your next build or maintenance session. Each option includes two propellers of the same rotation, not a mixed CW/CCW pair or a complete quad set.
Choose Your Rotation
- 2CW: Two clockwise propellers.
- 2CCW: Two counterclockwise propellers.
Confirm rotation using the manufacturer's markings and your aircraft's motor-direction configuration before installation.
Technical Specifications

- Diameter: 6 inches / 152.4mm.

- Blade count: Three per propeller.
- Material: Glass-fiber nylon.
- Color: Dark gray.
- Center bore: 5mm.
- Center thickness: 8.5mm.

Check Your Propulsion Setup
A 5mm bore does not establish universal motor compatibility. Check shaft fit, retaining hardware, hub engagement, frame clearance and the motor manufacturer's propeller recommendations. The high nominal pitch requires careful matching to motor KV, battery voltage and ESC capacity.
The original copy includes a 1.5kg takeoff-weight reference and a speed claim above 300km/h without identifying the aircraft, motor KV, voltage or test conditions. These are not verified payload, speed or flight-performance ratings for this propeller. No supported maximum RPM, thrust table or comparative stability data is provided here.
Perfect For
Experienced FPV hobbyists selecting a high-pitch six-inch tri-blade propeller for a suitably rated build, or replacing same-model props in the required rotation.
What's Included
Two Gemfan Vortex 6x9x3 dark gray propellers in your selected rotation: two CW or two CCW. Motors, aircraft and mounting hardware are not listed as included.
Installation and Safety
- Disconnect the battery before fitting or removing propellers.
- Verify rotation, motor direction and retaining-hardware engagement.
- Remove propellers during electronic configuration and motor-direction testing.
- Keep people and loose items clear of the propeller arc.
- Replace cracked, chipped, bent or impact-damaged props before further use.
- Check current draw and temperatures in a suitable controlled test before flying a new motor, voltage and propeller combination.
