iFlight Commando 8 V2 ExpressLRS Radio
Choose the Commando 8 V2 in the ExpressLRS band that matches your aircraft. The radio combines digital Hall-sensor gimbals, EdgeTX firmware, a listed TCXO frequency reference and an integrated ELRS transmitter module in a compact handheld layout.
At the workbench, load your model settings, check receiver compatibility and verify each switch before your first flight. The installed ELRS module means you do not need a separate external module for the selected band.
Choose Your Band
- ELRS 2.4G RF 500mW: 2.4GHz version with listed maximum RF output of 500mW.
- ELRS 915Mhz 1000mW: 915MHz-labeled version with listed maximum RF output of 1000mW. Confirm the exact supported band and firmware configuration for your receiver.
These are separate single-band configurations, not one simultaneous dual-band radio. A 2.4GHz ELRS receiver cannot bind to the 915MHz transmitter configuration. Output settings and available modes depend on the hardware and firmware configuration.

Match ExpressLRS protocol, band and firmware compatibility before binding. The radio is not a direct replacement for a DJI consumer-drone controller merely because a generic source field references DJI. FrSky and Crossfire receivers are not ELRS receivers.
An optional external module bay is referenced in the source. Do not assume it is included or that every third-party module is supported; confirm the bay, electrical interface and firmware requirements.
