The PX4FLOW V1.3.1 is an open-source optical flow smart camera designed for GPS-denied position hold and indoor navigation on Pixhawk and PX4-compatible UAVs. Built around an STM32F405 processor and a 752×480 MT9V034 image sensor with an integrated L3GD20 3-axis gyroscope, it calculates optical flow on a 4× binned and cropped area at 250Hz outdoors and 120Hz in low-light or indoor conditions — without requiring an illumination LED. Freely reprogrammable for custom low-level computer vision tasks. Available as a standalone sensor or bundled with the MB1043 ultrasonic sonar module for integrated altitude measurement.
